Mercier is actively pursuing a fugitive named Bencassim, who kidnapped a young child on French territory, adopted a few months earlier by a French family.

In Morocco, Mercier will collaborate with Fabien, a young brave cop, and will work closely with Farida Houssef, a divisional officer of Moroccan judicial police.

Mercier will have to play a couple attempting to adopt a child with his superior, Inspector Joubert, who has joined him on the field, in order to bring down the illegal adoption network.
